Posture No. 1: Setubandha Asana

Lie down on the ground keeping your body straight. Fold your knees until there’s a gap of a few inches between your feet and the hip region.
Now, keeping both knees folded, raise and lift up sciatica. Place your hands under the waist while your waist is lifted in the air. Your shoulders and head should be on the ground. Stay in this yoga position for 5 to 10 seconds.
Slowly come back. While coming back, place the buttocks and feet slowly on the ground. The hands should not be removed completely from their position.
Relax for a few seconds and repeat this yoga position for 5 to 7 times.
You can also perform this yoga exercise in case of back pain. Believe me, it will provide you great relief. It is also beneficial in case of a slipped disc.
Posture No. 2: Naukasana
How to do it?
To do this lie down straight on the ground. Hands and legs should be straight. Now place, both hands over the thighs.
Now start lifting your head and shoulders in the upward direction. While lifting the head and shoulders, raise your legs too. Your legs, back, head, hands, and shoulders are now in the air. Only the hip region is on the ground. Inhale while lifting up the body.
Your body will be like a parallel boat in this yoga pose. Hold for a few seconds. One important thing you need to be aware of is while holding the yoga position don’t stop breathing.
Slowly, bring the hands, legs and the head to the ground while breathing out. You can perform this pose for 3 to 6 times.
Other than killing out stubborn excess weight, it is also good for stomach, pancreas, and intestine. It also improves the digestive system.
Posture No. 3: Matasya Asana
How to do it?
Sit down on the ground. Make the position of Padmasan. To do padmasan, place the feet of your one leg on the thigh of another leg. Now place the feet of the first leg on the thigh of the second leg.
After making the pose of padmasan, take the support from the hands and lie down on the ground with your back touching the ground. Inhale a deep breath and raise your chest region slowly. Your head should be touching the ground.
Hold this position for a few seconds. Take slow and continuous long deep breaths while holding this yoga pose. Now exhale and come back slowly and rest your neck and back region on the ground. Take the support of your hands and slowly sit up. Relieve the position of padmasan.
This beautiful exercise will make your thyroid, parathyroid and adrenal glands healthier.
Posture No. 4: Dwichakrikasan
How to do it?
Lie down on the ground on your back. Now place your hands under your hip region. Now raise you’re your legs and start moving them in a circular motion.
To make it easier, imagine that you are driving a bicycle. In one set you can do 25 to 30 circular motions. After doing one set, take a break of 30 to 40 seconds.
You can perform 3 to 5 sets of this yoga exercise. To make a variation, you can do one set in the clockwise direction and another set in the anti-clockwise direction.
It makes the stomach good and activates the intestine. It is a good and effective exercise if you have constipation or acidity.
This is one of the easiest yoga for beginners. It is also considered as one of the best yoga poses for weight loss.
Posture No. 5: Padvrittasan
This is my personal favorite. Because you can perform this yoga exercise in two different forms. It’s like a 1+1 offer.
How to do it? (First Form)
Lay down on the ground with your back on the ground. Keep your body straight. Now, raise your right leg a few inches above from the ground.
Start rotating it in the clockwise direction while making a big zero sign. Do this from 10 to 20 times in clockwise direction. After doing this, slowly place your leg on the ground at its initial position.
One thing you need to remember is while doing this exercise, don’t touch your rotating leg on the ground.
After doing with right leg, do the same with the left leg. But this time, you have to rotate the leg in the anti-clockwise direction.
After doing this, slowly place your leg on the ground at its initial position and relax in corpse pose.
How to do it? (Second Form)
Lie down on the ground with your back on the ground. Keep your body straight. Now, raise both the legs simultaneously a few inches above from the ground.
Start rotating your legs in the clockwise direction while making a big zero sign. Do this from 10 to 20 times in clockwise direction.
After doing this, slowly bring back your legs to their initial position on the ground. Now again raise both your legs a few inches from the ground and start doing the same but in the anti-clockwise direction.
Again, while doing this yoga exercise, don’t touch your legs on the ground.
This exercise will make your stomach light and good. Also helps the digestive system.
Posture No. 6: Anantasana
How to do it?
Begin this asana by lying down straight on the ground. Now, turn towards your left side. Feel comfortable. Now, lift your head and support your head and neck with your left hand.
Inhale and slowly lift your right leg up. When your right leg makes an angle of 90-degree with your left leg, hold your right big toe with your right arm. Hold this position for a few seconds. Now, slowly exhale, leave your right toe and put down your right hand and right leg.
Now, it’s time to do it with the other side. Follow the instructions. Turn towards your right side. Feel comfortable. Now, lift your head and support your head and neck with your right hand.
Inhale and slowly lift your left leg up. When your left leg makes an angle of 90-degrees with your right leg, hold your left big toe with your left arm. Hold this position for a few seconds. Now, slowly exhale, leave your left toe and put down your left hand and left leg.
There are two things I need to tell you about this yoga posture. First, all of this is to be done slowly. Second, if you can’t hold your toe, just try to stretch a little bit. Try stretching and you will be able to hold the toe in a very few days.
This yoga posture gives a good stretch to your entire body and strengthens your shoulder muscles. Along with this, it also stimulates blood circulation and helps you with digestive problems (if any).
